Tim Barker, who works alongside Tom Stourton, brings over 35 years of experience in residential property, along with deep local knowledge and a thoughtful, client-first approach to every search.
Tim’s early career was spent in Central London, where he worked for 16 years with three of the capital’s leading estate agencies. Specialising in high-value residential property across Kensington, Chelsea, Belgravia and Mayfair, Tim gained a strong understanding of the expectations and discretion required by buyers at the top end of the market.
In 2001 Tim returned to his native Dorset, focusing exclusively on acting for private clients in their search for exceptional houses across the West Country. His roots lie in the Sherborne area, where he was born, raised and educated, giving him a long-standing connection to the region.
Over the past two decades, Tim has built a strong reputation for honest advice, professional calm and unrivalled knowledge of the property landscape. His network of local contacts enables him to offer clients early access to properties, often before they become publicly available.
In 2011, Tim joined forces with Tom Stourton, a long-time friend and former London colleague. Together, they work in partnership across Dorset, South Somerset and South Wiltshire, offering a highly personalised and collaborative service.
